Born in Wigan, Lancashire, Caroline Bessey pursued a career in art before specializing in ceramics at the county's Polytechnic, where she was honored in 1986. Although Caroline is passionate about creating beautiful coffee and tea mugs, she does not consume either of them despite being inspired by current trends and styles and working for Dunoon since 1987.
